1. Navigate to Maintenance > Availability Profiles



2. Click on Create a New Profile Set

a. A profile set can contain multiple available and unavailable events.

b. Resources are assigned to a profile set, not to individual events



3. In the dialog, enter a unique name

a. And description



4. Events can now be added using the “plus sign”


5. Select whether you want to use a previously created template, or whether you would like to start with a blank slate and whether the event is going to be for available time, or unavailable time.

 


6. To define an Event you must:

a. Create a unique name

b. Create a description for the event

c. Select a Start Date

d. Whether it is an All Day event

e. Or if it has a Start and End Time

f. And the frequency


7. If you select “Custom” frequency, then you define whether the repeat pattern is based on a Day, Week, or Year and when it ends.



8. If you select “Week”, you define what days of the week this event occurs.




9. If you select “Month”, based on the previously selected “Start Date”, you define the monthly repeat pattern of either the specific date, or the day within the month.



10. If you select “Year”, based on the previously selected “Start Date”, you define the annual repeat pattern of that specific date.



11. If you are defining an available event, you can then define any “breaks” (or unavailable time) within the availability. By selecting the “Lunch / Break” tab. 




12.    You click on the “plus” to add individual breaks or lunches within the availability. Every time you click on the plus sign a new row will be created where you define:

a.    A description of the specific unavailable time

b.    A start time

c.    An end time



13. Once all the elements are defined a visualization will be presented with the availability and breaks.



14. After saving, you can then go to the Calendar View for a different presentation.



15. At this point you can go to Resources to select which resources should be assigned to this Profile Set. Don’t forget to Save.
