After logging into nMetric Smarter Scheduling you navigate via the menu items and submenu items. Hovering over a menu item will present a list of submenu items. In order to open a submenu item, you must click on that submenu item directly.  All menu and/or submenu items may not be visible to every user depending on the defined access for the roles to which they belong.


Following are the menu items and submenu item descriptions:


1.    Home – By Default this is the page you will see after logging in. You can change this using “Preferences”. (see Preferences article)

a.   nMetric Suite - displays metrics, lateness summary and nVironment™ - resource utilization

b.  SmartJobs Builder - is used to construct SmartJobs

2.    Scheduling

a.    Gantt Chart – Gantt display of the scheduled Tasks either by Resource, or by Order (SmartJob™)

b.    Execution –displays by resource the sequence of Tasks to be transacted and the ability to transact those Tasks


3.    Reports

a.    Data Export – generates, in “.csv” format, a variety of filterable data for resources or orders (SmartJob™) 


4.    Maintenance

a.    Resources – creation and maintenance of resources

b.    Customers – manage customer information

c.    Available Profiles – creation and application of available and unavailable time

d.    Discrepant Disposition – manage work that was found to not meet specifications when performing a completion transaction 


5.    Admin

a.    Users – manage users and group membership

b.    Groups – create and manage groups of users and page access

c.    Bus Route Profiles – creation, maintenance and application of bus routes

d.    Properties – creation, maintenance, and association of properties to SmartJobs, tasks, resources and customers

e.    Attributes – creation, maintenance, and association of attributes to resources

f.    Reason Codes – creation and maintenance of reasons associated with events such as machine down, or “Pause”

g.    nSentinel™ – creation and maintenance of alerts & notifications

h.   SmartJobs Builder – manage the categories for SmartJob Templates


 


6.    Icon (click to open submenu)

a.    Preferences – manage various settings such as Time Zone and Gantt display options

b.    About – shows the version of nMetric

c.    Help – access nMetric Academy and contact channels (via phone, e-mail and support ticket)
