1. Navigate to Maintenance > Resources
2. The left side of the screen now shows all classes that have been added to the nMetric solution. Select the class of the resource to be edited: Example: Mill
a. The right side of the screen shows all resources in that class. Highlight and click on the resource to be edited. Example: Manual Mill 1.
3. A screen with resource details will open with the “General Details” tab highlighted
a. Click on “Available Profiles” tab
4. You can also access the Resource Details Dialog from the Resource View of the Gantt by single clicking on the name of the Resource in the left panel.
5. The “Available Profiles” screen will display to which profile sets the resource is assigned.
a. You can then view which events are within that Profile Set by clicking on the “eye” icon. Remember that resources are assigned at the Profile Set level and inherit all events within the Profile Set.
b. If you wish to assign this resource to any other Profile Set, click on the “Assign to Profile Set” and a dialog will be presented from which you can then select.
Please note that you can only select, or deselect these Shared Profiles, you cannot edit them. Please see the Help article on how to revise these Shared Profiles in “Manage Available Time”.
6. If you wish to add availability or unavailable time specific to this resource, select the “Resource Events” tab.
a. Click on the “plus sign”
b. And select whether you are going add an event from a template or will start from scratch for an available or unavailable event.
